Hey guys! Welcome to the fashion society blog - full of shiny new things for the year to come! First things first, my name is Ashleigh - I will be your guide to all things fashion on the blog for this semester. You'll be seeing my name around here a lot, and I'll be posting an introductory blog about myself and my other committee members very soon - but in the meantime if you'd like to know a bit more click on the link at the top of the page.
This year is all about FUN. We want everyone to have a great time (and look good doing so!), which is why we have a whole host of different events, socials and photoshoots in the pipelines to keep you all happy and interested. Tomorrow night (Wednesday, October 7th) we will be having our first meeting of the year (in 58/1067) to go over all the preliminary stuff so you know exactly what you'll be getting with your membership; please come along and say hello - we won't bite!
If you can't make it fear not - there will be a lovely little summary on here of anything you missed. As for now - I'm gonna kick off the new academic year's blog on a high note: how great you all looked at the bunfight. There was a lot of people that look hella fine, and a lot of pictures that we took - so if yours was taken and you're not on here fear not, there is plenty of opportunity to come!

We love group shots! Especially when EVERYONE in them co-ordinates this fabulously. We loved you guys at our stand - pinstripes and navy hues being the central theme in the quintet - perfect for cold, wintery day vibes or making a smart, clean-cut statement.

Comfy trainers combined with textured leathers, fabrics and layers made these three absolutely breeze through the autumnal trend staples. On point!
If you can pull off a good hat, you should wear one all the time. 24/7. Never stop. Like this lady here! The loose and casual boyfriend jeans are also a hit right now, both solid looks from bunfight.
Add some colour with a bright outer layer, or add some definition with interesting textures - either way it takes your outfit up a notch. Thanks ladies!
Again, pinstripes creating that wonderful elongated silhouette! A/W screams for a good pair of boots, and these are definitely them.
